The Library Ghost

Want to hear the ghost of the library? Want to see an orb in the upstairs of the library or some ectoplasm outside? Head to http://www.cnyghost.com/media.php to view them. Click on "audio" to hear the EVP, the ghost talk. If you want to see the orbs and the ectoplasm click on photos. The orb is the last picture under "orbs" on the right hand side. The ectoplasm is the last picture under "ectoplasm" on the bottom right.

The Ghost Seekers of CNY would like to reinvestigate the library in February 2008. Stay tuned for details on that investigation.

Library Ghost-real or not real?

The Ghost Seeker's of CNY came and did an investigation of the library in September. They presented their findings to the public in October. They feel there is definitely the presence of something here. They would like to return and investigate it further. They had a few incidences and an EVP occur while they were here. Stay tuned for more information of these exciting findings!

Oh Yeah I forgot!

We also created a CNY Programmer's Wiki for everyone and anyone with good programmers for Libraries and Schools, programming ideas etc to add too. I will admit, I haven't had much time to add to it myself, but am hoping others do. Check it out at: CNYProgrammers.wikispaces.com

A Big Thank You!

I would like to thank the 4-H group that came into the library yesterday carrying a big containers of pennies! They saw that we were collecting pennies for our building restoration fund and they saved some for us! It was a very thoughtful gesture and I am very proud of each and every one of them for doing this for our library! Thank you for helping us move one step closer to restoring our beautiful building!

Help us Rebuild the Library!!

We are currently renovating and restoring the library building. It wsa built in 1850 as a residence but was given to the Village of Morrisville as a library in 1903. It has been a library since then and we are in dire need of expansion and renovation. If you can help us, we are looking for monetary donations and/or a donated specialized skill. National Library Week

Did you know that this week is National Library Week? Stop into the library and check out some of the staff picks for children in the juvenile non fiction room. Donate some books to your local library. Pay off some old fines, offer to volunteer, purchase a much needed item for your library. Or, just stop in and say hello to the librarians at work! We strive to meet your every need!
